Tina Harrison, Receptionist and Secretary at Taylor Lindsey has again taken part in this years Race for Life raising £140 for Cancer Research UK. Tina who has worked for Taylor Lindsey for 8 years has entered this event for the last 5 years and is delighted with the continuing company sponsorship for this worthy charity. The event, held at RAF Waddington, saw over 4000 women hoping to raise in excess of £210,000. Tina commented “ I am proud to take part in the event every year. Whilst being a really fun day it is important to raise much needed money for this charity”. Also supporting the event was Karen Kane, Accounts Manager, who assisted in the marshalling of the event and handed out well deserved refreshments. Karen a keen runner herself, commented on the fantastic turnout and hoped that the event would raise well above the targeted amount.
Taylor Lindsey Makes A Splash

Taylor Lindsey have announced their sponsorship of local swimming club, Pentaqua by providing the instructors with new pool-side polo shirts. Pentaqua was formed in 1972 when five local swimming clubs realised that competitive swimming was not catered for in Lincoln and the five clubs formed “Pentaqua”. Over the years the Club has been extremely successful with Paul Palmer and Marc Spackman progressing from their Learn To Swim scheme to the Olympic Games. Taylor Lindsey are pleased to be able to help the club, who provide the opportunity for swimmers to compete in local and national competitions and wish them continued success for the future. Lindsey Homes Wins Major Award

Lindsey Homes were presented with two major awards in the annual West Lindsey District Council Built in Quality Awards 2006 for their development at The Hawthornes, Cherry Willingham. In the presentation ceremony at The Guildhall, Gainsborough, Lindsey Homes were the outright winners in the Best Managed Site Award and in the Major Housing category, achieved the award of merit. Lindsey Homes Renew Local Football Sponsorship

Lindsey Homes have renewed their sponsorship of Cherry Willingham Football Club by donating a new kit. Lindsey Homes have been sponsoring Cherry Willingham Football Club for the last five years and now provide kits for both the Saturday and Sunday teams. The Saturday team currently play in the West Lindsey League and the Sunday team in the Lincoln Sunday League Premier Division. Cherry Willingham Football Club was established in 1946. Lindsey Homes Receive Major Housing Development Awards

Lindsey Homes, the Lincoln based house builder and developer has won two major awards for its 300 house and bungalow development, The Hawthornes, at Cherry Willingham.
Lindsey Homes, that have been building new homes in the Lincoln area for over fifty years, won the Outright Consistent Quality and Best Managed Site awards in West Lindsey District Council’s Built-In Quality Awards.
The awards were presented to Tina Flood, Tony Higgins and Steve Reid from Lindsey Homes at the annual Building Control Quality Awards dinner held at the Sands venue, Lord Street, Gainsborough.
The awards, sponsored by Jackson Building Centres, were introduced by West Lindsey District Council’s chief building control manager, Tony Nind who said, “we are privileged to be associated with building works of such high standards which are being achieved in the district of West Lindsey.”
“I have worked in many different places, but the workmanship I see day in and day out in West Lindsey is the equal of anything I have seen anywhere, and far better than most. It is a pleasure for me to work with companies which operate such high standards," added Mr Nind.
Tony Higgins, Lindsey Homes’ senior site manager, said: "We were delighted to have won this prestigious awards, it is a credit to the team who have worked on this project. We have always been committed to building quality homes and we are pleased that our efforts have been recognised for the second year running in this way."
Now the two awards will be entered in the National Built-In Quality Awards, which take place in February.
Lindsey Homes is currently two thirds of the way through its Hawthornes development with about 70 more homes to complete.
