Cherry Willingham lies three miles east of Lincoln on a south facing slope above the Witham Valley. There has been a settlement here since the Iron Age and the village is recorded in the Domesday survey.
The village is served by its own shopping centre, The Parade, which has a range of shops as well as a doctors surgery, a library and public house. The post office is close by and there is a range of sporting and leisure activities within the village.
Both primary and secondary schools are located within the village and there is a regular bus service to Lincoln.
The Hawthornes development is located within the centre of Cherry Willingham village on Lady Meers Road, off Church Lane and is adjacent to open countryside on two sides with views towards the Witham Valley and the Wolds.
